Note (12/2023): OpenAhjo is not in production, so the up-to-dateness or availability of its data cannot be guaranteed.
You can search for public decision data for the City of Helsinki in a structured form in the City of Helsinki’s decision interface. The agendas and minutes of the City Council, City Board and committees, together with the attachments, and the decisions of the office holders are published as open data. The data is updated once a day.
The City of Helsinki case management system (Ahjo) stores the information on pending and resolved cases required by the Act on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999) and needed by the authority in its operations. All decisions of the bodies and office-holders are prepared in Ahjo. Ahjo is used by all the people involved in the preparation and processing of the decisions of the city’s organisational departments, from the registrar to the keeper of the minutes.
Things that are recorded in other special registers, such as health care or daycare systems, are not recorded in Ahjo.
