Relative elevation in the Tampere region

The data is a raster layer, in which the attribute information indicates how many meters higher (positive value) or lower (negative value) the pixel is in relation to the average elevation of the surrounding zone. There are separate raster layers for different-sized zones that are 100 m, 200 m, 300 m and 500 m in radius. The data has been derived from the National Land Survey of Finland’s 10 m resolution elevation model. The data has been generalized to 100 m resolution. The data is produced as part of the HERCULES consortium/project funded by the Academy of Finland’s Climate Change and Health (CLIHE) research program implemented during the years 2020-2023.
