Mustikkaan.fi is an application that predicts the ripening of Bilberries. The prediction is calculated on daily basis utilizing the HIRLAM open weather data provided by the Finnish Meteorological Institute. The model is calculated on a 10*10km geographical grid. The predictions are published on a web page where the user can get a prediction for a preferred location or see a map of the whole of Finland showing the progress of berry ripening. The model is based on a Thermal Time phenological model.
